The winter time is the perfect time for students to accelerate their SAT/ACT prep progress—especially for students who are new to test prep but

want to start rigorous SAT/ACT prep for the February ACT or March SAT in the new year.

MEK is hosting an 8-day boot camp, specifically for students who are new to SAT/ACT Prep at MEK. Through this boot camp, students will build a

foundation of SAT/ACT skills so they can go straight into rigorous training through our SAT 1400 or ACT 30 course, starting on January 3rd, 2026.

BOOT CAMP: DETAILS

WHAT HAPPENS IN DURING THE 3 HOUR SESSION?

1 HOUR 30 MINUTES | English Lecture by Mr. I. Yang

1 HOUR 30 MINUTES | Math Lecture by Mr. P. Gupta

Lectures are primarily content-focused, designed to give students a foundation of content mastery, which they can apply to three (3) tests during the duration of the boot camp. Test dates are highlighted on the left.

HYBRID CLASS SETTING

Boot camp lectures will be taught in-person and broadcasted live via Zoom, providing both in-person and virtual options to students. Students joining virtually will be encouraged just as much as students joining in-person to engage in the class and ask questions.

SSAT/ISEE LAST PUSH BOOT CAMP

IN-PERSON: Closter Campus

January 11th, 2025, is the last day for students to take the SSAT/ISEE

for 2025 high school admissions.

This means there’s a little more than a month between the official BCA/BT Entrance Exam and the last chance to take the SSAT/ISEE. A month is a short time, but at MEK, we want to help you make the most of it, securing a great high school option before the BCA/BT results are released.

MEK is hosting a 10-day boot camp, specifically for students in our 2024 BCA/BT Prep, HSPT Prep, and Fast Track 8 programs, to make a final intensive push toward their SSAT goal scores.

WHAT HAPPENS IN DURING THE 3.5 HOUR SESSION?

1 HOUR 30 MINUTES | Math Lecture by Mr. T. Kim

30 MINUTES | Vocabulary Quiz & Study Hall

1 HOUR 30 MINUTES | English Lecture by Mr. I. Yang

Each lecture reviews a full-length simulation test. All students must take a full-length simulation test before each session, in-person at the Closter Campus.

Tests are scheduled by appointment. The MEK Enrollment Team will assist you with test-scheduling at the time of registration.
